Here is my Story

I have worked in the automotive industry for more than 12 years, running my own car dealership and financing company, and selling multiple businesses along the way. Over the years, I have bought and sold cars across Europe, with a strong focus on Scandinavia.

 

A few years ago, I decided to buy a car in Dubai myself. I remember thinking: I know cars, I’ve done this for years – how difficult can it be?

 

I found what looked like a great car at a very attractive price through an auction, and I was convinced I had made a strong deal. The car was delivered, and I had it checked by my mechanic. Everything seemed fine.

 

Then, a few weeks later, when I tried to insure the car, I was told something shocking: the car had previously been declared a total loss and rebuilt. I had never been informed of this, and there was nothing obvious visible on the car itself. Even worse, key safety components such as the airbags had been compromised.

 

At that moment, I realised how risky the market can be — even for someone with years of experience in car trading.

 

That experience taught me something important:

no matter how confident you are, it is always worth having the right advisor by your side when buying a car in the UAE.

 

I would gladly have paid a professional fee to avoid ending up with a car that put my family and myself at risk.

 

That is exactly why I created Dubai Car Advisory:

to help others avoid the same mistakes, make safer decisions, and buy the right car with confidence.
